Make sure your Christmas offer is well planned and costed including decorations, marketing & incentives
Introduce a booking system and make sure it works and everyone working in the pub knows about it and how it works
Have a table plan that fits the establishment comfortably so people arent too squashed and their cutlery and plates will all fit on the table!
Have multiple sitting times available to give the kitchen the time it needs to produce the meals well and the waiting staff the time to offer quality service
Offer to organise crackers, games and pre-ordering of drinks to save time and effort for the people booking
Try to offer an incentive for booking with you- free bottle of wine if a certain number of people book for example
Have a set menu with a set price so that people will know what they will expect to spend- many will have to meet Christmas meal budgets
Get a deposit to make sure your customers turn up
Offer an incentive to book early
Have a deposit/ cancellation policy that ensure that when you buy your supplies for the event it is paid for
Offer a family Christmas dinner with presents under the tree for kids and a glass of cava for the parents
