Food Planning

Find out more about planning your menu effectively to maximise sales

Service style

Make sure that your service style is appropriate to your pub, table service is not expected in a pub and you should feel very comfortable asking your customers to order at the bar.

You will need to have a table plan or table numbers for this to be effective. Cutlery does not have to be on the table, keep cutlery and sauces on a seperate table to the side of the dining area, that way you will not put guests off who just want to sit and have a drink

Make sure your cutlery is gleaming and has no marks on it, there is nothing worse than a dirty knife and fork just like a glass with lipstick on it.

Always give your customers a napkin with bar snacks as well as meals, you might want to use smaller cocktail napkins for bar snacks.
