The NSF-CMi coaching visit will take 3 to 3.5 hours. 1 and 2 hour visits are also available.
Thereafter it is suggested that each of the five sections in the SFBB pack should take no more than about an hour to work through and complete for your businesses.
Wont this take a lot of time each day, and need me to keep lost of records?
With the SFBB pack filling out the diary is the only daily record keeping that you will have to complete as a minimum, and these should only take a few minutes each day.
You dont have to keep lots of records. Once you have worked through the safe methods for your businesses, you will have a record of what your business does to make sure that food is stored, handled and prepared safely. This will only need to be reviewed and amended if you change the way your food business operates, for example introducing new dishes, a new menu, or perhaps new catering equipment.
